Vista on a MacBook Pro.
As you all know, I’ve been big into learning about Forex lately. I downloaded a great program called Metatrader, which is charting software so that I can watch the price action of all the currency pairs, but was aggravated to see that it was only available on PC. As I normally don’t like to be glued to one spot all night (the desktop PC), it would be convenient to run this on my Apple laptop. After talking with Robbie, he enlightened me to Parallels, which allows you to run and install a virtualization of any OS on your Mac. Mine just so happens to be Vista, and it runs flawlessly. So, now when I attend Rob Booker’s free Forex training seminar in Houston, I won’t be the guy without the software.

Try using Crossover too as it may well run the software without any need for Windows, virus scanners and the like.
Sorry, forgot to add this:
The software is made by a company called Codeweavers.

I believe the difference between Crossover and Parallels mainly is the fact that Crossover allows you to run a virtual windows environment and execute programs whereas Parallels is actually a virtualization of the entire windows operating system. If he was looking to run just the Forex software, Crossover is great. They both have their pros and cons, but in my opinion if you want to run full fledged windows full-screened, Paralells is the way to go.
